Thorvaldur Gylfason

Dr. Thorvaldur Gylfason is professor emeritus of economics at the University of Iceland and a former IMF economist. His research is mainly on natural resources and economic development. He has also written on constitutional reform, and in 2011 he sat on Iceland’s Constitutional Council, the body that drafted a proposed new constitution.
