Dr. John Martinis is co-founder and chief technology officer of Qolab, which builds superconducting quantum computers. As a PhD student at UC Berkeley, he ran experiments showing quantum effects in an electrical circuit, and that work won him a share of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics. He later led Google’s quantum hardware team.
